Men Ke, a typical office worker, spent the first half of her life so bored she questioned its meaning, only to face the prospect of dying from boredom in the second half. How will this Earthly heroine, facing the daily threat of death yet still forced to go to work, and the enthusiastic but ultimately ineffective alien hero who wants to save her, overcome boredom and live a happy life?
